Those undies rock! Is that a bleach effect on the Saturday pair? And, I agree with you about the Tuesday pair- excellent!

Yes! She said it was done with bleach pen!

Very cool! I might have to dig out a pair of colored undies and try that...

Oh man, everything in this gallery is just so awesome! I love the fabrics used on the bags, and the quilt is fantastic! That swiffer cover is so neat! I really need to make myself a crochet version.

And, I received a fan-freakin-tabulous pop tab purse from longtimegeek. I was expecting a clutch (and was worried that I'd drop it somewhere), so I was THRILLED when I opened it to find that she put a strap on it (perfect length) and a zipper!! She lined it with this cool pinkish fabric and put several pockets inside. IT ROCKS!! And, as a bonus, she tucked a package of raspberry chocolates inside...yum...

I just love it, so all of your hard work was worth it!! I may have to try to get enough tabs to make a coordinating coin purse or something, because I know folks will ask me how to make it. So, I need to learn on something small. Love, love, love!!!
6915  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: One for Me, One for You Swap sendouts extended to 9/16 on: September 12, 2008 03:57:49 PM
I have posted my item to craftaddchick but have not finished another item I set out to do for me.
I sent her and extra cause I felt that what I was sending wasn't enough, even though it took like 4 hours per item and I made 3....... sooooooooo I made an extra, I had these lovely green linen napkins just begging to be embroidered so how could I say no.....now I am making me a new tissuse box as the old one broke. just need to get back to it, it's half done

Yay! I can't wait to see! And, I am on the Poppet freight train tonight! Mine will be naked when I send yours, but she'll have hair and be sculpted. Yours will also have an outfit!

I never would have expected that you could do so many things with leftover oatmeal. Makes me want to cook up a big batch for breakfast!

How about a PILE of habanero peppers?  Mama didn't know what they were, and planted 5 plants of them, and now we have a ton of them sitting around ready to burst into flames any minute.  Can you dry them?  If so, how?  One little perpper does a whole batch of salsa up right.  What to do with the rest?

HB Huh

How about making up some habanero oil? Put one or two chopped up in some lovely olive oil, let it sit for a bit and then strain out the peppers. Maybe put a whole one in the bottle for looks.

Or habanero pickled eggs? Or an oil with a pepper and some garlic cloves?

I love the praying mantis! I need to find a crochet pattern for one. It would look pretty cool on my desk at school...

And, the cherry blossom tree is fantastic. I really do need to take that box of quilling supplies off of the shelf and give it a go. You did a beautiful job!
