come on craftADDchick i don't generally pay attention to my gauge either when crafting for myself. BUT it's EASY here, just make one with the hook you will think is best, generally G or H, and if it's too big make a new one with a size down or the opposite! and they only take a few minutes literally so you aren't wasting a lot of time making swatches to test your gauge.
It should really only take you a max of about 2 minutes to do each daughter. Therefore, 80 takes about 160 minutes if you were working straight through. Even if you don't, and say it takes you 200 minutes... then to finish by the 13th you only have to make about 4-5 a day or set aside about 10 minutes a day. See, very easy to do! Come on, you know you want to!
Hee-hee! I do really want to... I am just way behind on a swap that should be in the mail tomorrow. Once I get that finished, I'll probably sign up (and I'll probably work out my gauge issues between now and then
). I have a bunch of yarn from the Odd Yarn Ball swap that would be perfect for this. I also figured that I'd make myself a set while I was at it, that way I'd have an extra 40... and that means it's still only 4 per day...
So, I should be signed up by the end of next weekend (just don't close early!).
