something_weird you got a superb set of stamps! I love the eye stamp from PlumCrafty (such a science geek I am!) and laminathegreat's 2-part face stamp is making the wheels turn in my brain. Different mouths, different eyes and you could have a whole plethora of expressions! I'm not familiar with Torchwood (it must be on cable, which I lack), but Raenef did a fantastic job carving that stamp. The lines are so straight and clean!

I loved this book as a kid (and still love it!) and Grover is one of my favorite Sesame Street characters! You did a fantastic job on him and your photo presentation is adorable.

What kind of yarn did you use? I might have to make one (and make him a "Super Grover " outfit, too Wink ). Thanks so much for posting this. It put a giant smile on my face.

Raenef- That's a great sailboat stamp! Makes me long for the ocean and the smell of the salt air...

Sorcha- good thinking on doubling the square! So, will it have 4 hearts altogether?

And good luck in the hospital!

The book I picked out and had to order (since I can't give up my copy Wink ), may not arrive until the 12th! Still in time, but I was hoping to send earlier. Grrrrr! I have a second book that I was planning to send, so if I finish early and get itchy, I may send everything and then mail the "official" book when it arrives!

ETA: Okay, if I had checked the mail before I checked Craftster (hey, I do have my priorities straight Wink ), I would have found a package because my book arrived!! So, now I have to really get cracking! I'm crafting for my partner and her son, so I'll be working on her son's stuff tonight. Yay!

I'm so happy sign up went quickly.  I'm super pumped for my first swap.
Happy crafting guys, I hope whoever my partner is enjoys me novice-ness.  Tongue

First time swappers are often some of the best swap partners to have!

I bought dark-chocolate covered altoids, and I ate them all last night...  I mean they ran away....

OMG! I never heard of these, but now I must seek them out...Trader Joe's, maybe?

Well, if it was me (and I don't claim to be an expert), I'd need to go up 2 hook sizes to get it to be the correct size to begin with, but then I'd just add extra rows (maybe one with the bobble-y things as a sort of frame). I'm not sure, but I think that if you increase the hook size too much, it might be too loose looking...
6838  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Nintendo DS lite organizer/carry case on: January 27, 2008 11:03:32 AM
I need to make a case for a girl's birthday gift (she has been using the one that I made for her brother), and this style of case is waaaaay nicer than the one I made earlier. I might have to try and copy this!

Love the fabric, too!

Me, too, on all of the above.  I don't think this quiz really knows much about classic lit or YA either!  Smiley

Well, it is Cosmo, after all Wink

ningy, your stamps from Twisted Redhead are fantastic. The owl looks so cute, and I really like the flower outline- lots of possibilities with that one. And, I agree with babbetto- can't wait to see the top flower stamp with the curling leaves stamped out!

What a great idea CraftADDchick! That is such a versatile stamp set!

Thanks! I sent sets to all of my partners (only 1 has been posted so far, though). I love sets and since I was going with abstract-ish designs, I thought that my partners would have more stamping options.
