6771  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Filet Dragonflies on: October 28, 2007 03:45:01 PM
Wow! This is gorgeous and something to aspire to. With that in mind, I found a pattern here:
http://www.hassdesign.com/FiletCrochetDesigns/IP/FiletAfghans/

that I think is the same (or very similar). I've wanted to learn filet crochet, and this pattern might be the one that actually gets me to do it!

Thanks for the inspiration!!

it's so weird seeing my 'mr spock' being somewhere else, he's been on my dining table for the past month, he was almost like part of the family.

Well, at least you can visit him on Craftster whenever you want!

And thanks so much, nirauan, for organizing this swap! It was a blast!

I love the Spock painting! Is there a chance you can post a close-up shot of the necklace? I'd love to see it!

Whew! I was worried that, because I had packed the box so tightly, something would break along the way. I'm glad everything made it okay!

Love the cauldron mug! And somewhere, I have patterns for crocheted coffee mugs and tea cups. I should make some for gifts. Thanks for the inspiration!
6777  CLOTHING / Shoes: Discussion and Questions / Re: I want a pair of the uber-trendy rain boots! on: October 26, 2007 03:57:59 PM
FYI: If you're plus-size, the Target ones may not fit around your calf...

But then, you could cut them up the back (or side or front), insert grommets, and lace them up! You'd have a pair like nobody else!!

I like that one dani.ELLE! I might actually have a chance to crochet this weekend. I might finish an Almond Back Loop that I started ages ago. Wink

Ooooh! I really like the zipper square!

I just tried to get a peek at the pattern, but bandwidth was an issue. I'll definitely be checking it out tomorrow!

And, can I just say (again, I think), you are a dishcloth machine Z.S!

Later would be better for me, but I could probably manage mid-November, too!
