6701  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: My teensy little embroidery bag on: March 17, 2007 08:15:56 AM
A nice little bag that you can grab when you need something to work on. And, keeping everything together might turn those UFOs into FOs. I definitiely need to make something along these lines.

So professional looking! And the flowered inside cracks me up with its contrast to the "serious" outside. Looks plenty big enough too- nicely done!
6703  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: My "just in case" bag on: March 17, 2007 08:12:03 AM
This is such a good idea! An adult "busy bag!" I hate having to wait for appointments with nothing to do but stare at the walls. I need to make something like this to leave in the car. Then I just need to remember to take it in to my appointment with me!

I love the fabric that you used! And, I like how you made a 2-tiered brush holder. Good use of the lower portion of the roll.

This is a pretty neat design. I love designs that have a bit of "engineering" in them! When do you use the handles on the sides?
6706  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: book cover (more like book cozy actually) :) on: March 17, 2007 07:46:48 AM
What a neat idea! I like it better than a regular book cover. And, I think it will protect your books a little better. The edges and cover won't get smushed, bent, folded, spindled or mutilated   Smiley

Let us know how it works. If it helps your books I might try to make a crochet version!
6707  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Amigurumi Caterpillars, WITH PATTERN on: March 16, 2007 05:00:21 PM
These are so cute! Just one more item to support my recent crochet addiction...

I'll be making a bunch of these...

Thanks for the pattern!

How does posting the list to the gallery after vegbee receives sound?  Smiley

Sounds good to me, as long as vegbee doesn't mind that we get a share of her goodies! Grin

Thanks!

Muria- any chance you could share your list of quotes? I'm always looking for great quotes to explain/justify/legitimize my lack of housekeeping skills! Plus, I think my aunt and I share the messiness gene and I'd like to make her something appropriate for Christmas.

I really like the ones that you made for your daughter! Now, I'll have to start poking around for an inexpensive pair to carve up!
