6701  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: stone with an eye on: February 04, 2008 05:17:56 PM
This is pretty funny!

And creepy...

But I think I need to make a couple...the next time I order eyes, I'm getting some for this project. Thanks for posting!

Al is looking over my shoulder right now and indicating that I need to learn how to knit...he doesn't seem to happy that I'm indicating that it just isn't going to happen...

And giz, that is one fantastic angel package!! If I ever get flaked on, I'm requesting you... Wink
6703  CROCHET / Crochetalongs / Re: 2008 12" Squares ~ FEB on: February 04, 2008 05:09:38 PM
Sorcha and Kookaloo- Great job on the squares. I love how different they look with the different colors you used. And Kookaloo, those squares will make an awesome cushion/pillow! Will you line it with fabric, or just plop the pillow right in?
6704  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Craftalongs / Re: The Long Awaited Poppet-Along on: February 04, 2008 05:03:57 PM
So I sewed my head today, so that when my eyes show up I'll be ready.

For some reason, this sentence struck me as totally funny...
Wink

And, thanks for even more tips about making wings! I am doing some serious crafting over vacation, that's for sure. I was so wiped out getting ready for Christmas that I totally wasted Christmas break. And, the next 2 weeks, except for a couple of evening events, will be relatively easy for me. So, my list of crafts-to-do will get a huge chunk knocked out of it. I can't wait...
6705  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Altoid Tin Theme Swap Round 10 (Signups CLOSED!, Sendouts 2/22) on: February 04, 2008 04:55:46 PM
Okay! But let me know if it doesn't work out Wink

Kenners- Sweet package from jrain! I love the fabric on the bag, and the book is fantastic! Cool bookmarks, too Wink

Well, I'm a bit sad that the Pats lost, but, in reality, it is only a game Wink

And, kish, if you don't have anyone who can do the second tin, I'd be willing to do it. I have vacation in 2 weeks, so I'll have the time.

That is one awesome looking bag! I love your fabric combination, too! And, I'll have to add that book to my "library list" because it sounds like a good one.

Wow! Thanks for all of the ideas for wings! I was originally thinking of the wire and pantyhose type, but now you've got me thinking in a different direction. I'll have to think about the best option Smiley

I wonder if I could make a lightning bug Poppet? A little glow in the dark clay in the butt, a pair of wings and there you have it Wink

I laughed so hard when I read that, and got hubby all curious--so when I told him, he was quiet for a long moment, then said, "You really have some strange people on Craftster."   Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I'll take that as a compliment, thank you very much! Wink

I've actually been scoping out how to make wings so I can put the plan into action. I already have a bunch of glow-in-the-dark clay, too!
