Wait...didn't you just have a baby? When do you have time to crochet all of these extra ones?

It's lovely...

Sorcha, that puff heart square came out very nicely! I like how you reversed the squares Wink

rizzleraz, I like your border square. It looks nice in all one color, too! Thanks for posting that pattern link!

Wow! Another gorgeous tatted piece! I actually looked for tatting stuff at the craft store the other day, but didn't find anything. I'm definitely looking harder the next time, because this is so amazing!

Thanks, again! The variegated is Sugar N' Cream yarn (The pattern actually has directions for a striped shell, but I was too lazy to change colors, so the variegated was perfect!). The white is Lion Brand cotton. The pattern called for a 4-ply cotton, I think (and a much smaller hook). It was such a quick pattern to work up, I'll be making some more of these. I did alter the antennae a bit, I couldn't get them to work the way the pattern said (through no fault of the pattern  Cheesy ). Of course, I don't remember exactly what I did...but I think I did a chain for each one and then sc into the chain.

Beautiful, pjherbert! I really like the colors. So vivid! And, I don't feel like such a tense-stitch-too-tight crochet freak on this square since many folks have had to add rows.

Thanks, guys! He's about 4" long and tall. He sits in the palm of my hand nicely. He's a bit bigger than what the pattern said, but I used a larger hook.

Oh, man! Now I have an ice cream craving!

I got my package from mom2blu today and I couldn't be happier!

First up, the awesome bag. I wanted something that would fit a book (or two) but still have room for a small project (like a crochet amigurumi project). This bag is the prefect size for a decent hardcover, and because it is long, I can tuck a small project in the top. Plus, it has a magnetic snap closure so I don't dump my stuff everywhere, and the handle is the perfect length for shoulder slinging or hand carrying! And, the fabric is wonderful, too!!

Then, the goodies inside the bag- mom2blu really spoiled me! She gave me a copy of The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe, which is great, since I brought my copy into school and it disappeared. Also, the book Murder in the Place of Anubis, by Lynda S. Robinson. I know what I'll be reading over vacation! She also made me 2 fabric book covers (that nicely match the bag Wink ) and 2 bookmarks of the same fabric (which I didn't photograph...oops!). And, she also tucked in some materials for a crochet project: a booklet of crochet patterns and a ball of Sugar N' Cream yarn!

Thanks so much, mom2blu! You are an awesome swap partner!

Here's a cute little snail I crocheted (pattern from: http://www.pepika.com/ ). He's a cute little guy who loves all things 70s, hence his penchant for the color orange. Wink
