I like how you combine resin/ metalsmithing.  Is that something you learned in class, or something you came up with on your own?
372  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Completed Projects / Re: Frosted glass tutorial -- How to make your own frosted glassware! on: April 22, 2005 11:50:30 AM
I went to Micheals Arts & Crafts awhile a go to pick some of this stuff up, but they didn't have any.  I guess it's been recalled in Canada for some labelling reason.  I bought some frosting paint instead... that didn't work out very well at all.
373  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: One hour hat! on: April 03, 2005 01:57:53 PM
This is my second attempt at the one hour hat.

Wool/ slightly felted.   Great fit... I'm happy with everything about it, except for the seam at the back... think I'll have to try using circular needles again soon.

Edit:  took out picture.

Thanks for the tips.  I checked out the website and ended up going yesterday.  I bought this this beautiful hand-thrown procelain teacup by Ware on Earth.  The show was a lot of fun, I'd go again.

My sister has an interest in fashion... and I'm into jewellery design/ crafting so we're going to this together next weekend.  Can anyone tell me what to expect? Is it worth the money/ time/ travel?

Neigung, that is adorable!!  What yarn did you use?

Thanks very much.  I'm not sure exactly what the yarn is called (I think someone on here may have called it eye-lash yarn before), but it's pretty neat.  The finished product looks/ feels something like terry cloth.
