Easy Cast all the way....  Tongue

...at least for the type of work that I find myself doing now.

Congrats on your first bezel setting!

Thanks Wink

One question though, where did you buy your buckle back? I have been searching everywhere Smiley

Rings and Things!  I love rings and things... but hate customs for charging me a ton of $$ to ship their findings into Canada.  Undecided

Oh yeah, of course you can make buckles. Smiley

I also made this little Koi pin, I'm probably going to use this drawing until I get sick of looking at it.

I'm finally happy with the look of my etsy shop.  Nice clean, crisp pictures so all attention can be on my accessories and jewellery... now to just make more listings! I have just realized that I have spent way, way more on supplies over the last year than I've made on sales.  This needs to change.

I made my first 2 sales!  Yay!  I was about to give up...

Yay, congrats!  The best thing you can do for yourself is not give up when you feel like giving up sometimes.

I love the geisha pendant.  Great use of rivets!

MSDS!  http://www.eti-usa.com/MSDS/MSDS%20PDF/Casting%20Resin/CASTINGR.pdf

"HEALTH HAZARDS (ACUTE AND CHRONIC): SEVERE EYE IRRITATION, SKIN IRRITATION, DIZZINESS, NAUSEA,
NARCOSIS(CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM DEPRESSION) ON INHALATION. CHRONIC EXPOSURE COULD
DAMAGE CNS, RESPIRATORY SYSTEM, EYES, GASTROINTESTINAL TRACT, LIVER, SPLEEN, AND KIDNEYS"

You need to work in a well ventilated room.  I was using a cheap chemical respirator that looks like a dust mask (it was labelled chemical respirator, so I know it's okay... but  a real respirator would still be better.)
19  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Re: The random RESIN question thread! on: October 01, 2008 11:18:18 AM
Well, you should be using a chemical respirator, not just a dust mask.   A dust mask won't protect you from fumes.  I would discard the dust mask if I were you, and if your sore throat persists, you may want to see a doctor...?

If I'm doing my photos in natural light, my camera has a cloud setting and I use that one.

I forgot about this tip.   It really does help to brighten up your photos.   Windows are good, but I prefer to take mine right outside on really sunny days.
