3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Discussion and Questions / Sterling vs. Surgical on: October 03, 2009 06:44:11 PM
I'm getting ready to order some more supplies to make jewelry.  So far, I've been using silver plated earring hooks.  I want to start using sterling silver earring hooks.  What do you guys think is more customer friendly...sterling or surgical steel?  I know a lot of people have trouble wearing certain metals.  Just looking for a group consensus.

Does anyone have any links to free curtain patterns?  I'm really not interested in spending $10 for the pattern and then who knows how much for the fabric.  I don't really like frilly curtains either.  Hoping someone can help me out!!!!  My new house has been without curtains for 6 months!

9  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Discussion and Questions / Help Me Name a Resturant on: August 26, 2005 11:28:30 AM
I'm a graphic design student.  We are getting ready to do a complete corporate identity package for a resturant.  We have to come up with the name the location, everything.  I'm doing a cafe to be located in Paducha or Berea Kentucky, very craft oriented towns.  The colors are bright and fresh, hot pink, lime green, blue, purple, you name it.  Polka dots and stripes are going to be my only patterns.  I need you guys to help me think of a name for the cafe.  It's going to be a very whimsical place.

I would like something with the word pink.  I need help.
10  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Knit Box on: March 22, 2005 11:47:31 PM
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but here is a picture of a box that I made to hold my knitting supplies.  I'm a beginner knitter and struggling to find the patience to continue.  The box is just a plain wooden box and the letters are the wood letters in the craft section and your local walmart.  I just painted it up and there ya go!

Let me know how cute it is!!!   Tongue
