OMG!  That is awesome!  I started the Jayne hat quote cross stitch.  If you ever decide to share this pattern, I'd love love to give it a go, you did a lovely job

4  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions / LARGE window on: May 25, 2011 07:46:26 AM
I have a very very large window in my living room. It's street level so I have to cover it. I have had blinds, drapes and, right now I have these http://all-blinds.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/bamboo-blinds1-213x300.jpg.  The issue is I kind of hate them all. I have cats that have broken every set of blinds I have ever had and drapes they climb. Plus there's there's the issue of hair and dust and having to wash them etc..

So am looking for other ideas??? I have been thinking about privacy films like these http://bestwindowshutters.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/frosted-privacy-window-film-2.jpg but there $$$ and I want something more home made.

thank so much
