7  Pennsylvania / Pennsylvania: Southeast / Re: Craftster meetup at Fabric Row! on: February 23, 2007 06:53:08 AM
Our group, Philadelphia Sewing Collective, is looking to start regular excusions to Fabric Row in the spring and summer.  It's something we've been looking to do for our students who are kind of overwhelmed by Fabric Row and fabric shopping in general.  We'd be happy to set up separate shopping trips for non-students.  PSC is also in the process of securing discounts with a lot of the merchants on Fabric Row for our members, so that might also be something that people would be interested in.

Also, we would like to schedule Jo-Mar trips for anyone who wants to head out to the far reaches of NE. Philly, Kensington, and S. Philly.  Jo-Mar is a wholesale place and is where a lot of local designers pick up discounted fabric and goods.
