11  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Shower Costume Dress Completed with Pics on: October 19, 2006 11:55:12 AM

I made a shower costume for this Halloween!

http://jenna.gregorybrand.com/Shower1.JPG

The skirt is pleated, knee-length, and made out of a clear shower curtain with geometric dot detailing. I'm wearing blue leggings because, ya know, it's cold out, and the skirt is see-through.

The breast plate is made from a shower bottom no-skid pad. It ties together in the back. Don't worry, everything was bought new, so no skunky mildew issues.  I sewed it onto a blue tank top.  And I'm wearing a white long-sleeve shirt, because, again, it's cold out.

The blue wide belt is made from a disassembled loofah.  You can't see it in any of the pictures, but I had a loofah hair-scrunchie, too!

Inspired by Project Runway, of course!

Happy Halloween everyone!

I love this!  Great job.  The blood on the robot-ass is probably my favorite part.

Thanks so much everyone!  I am having a hard time thinking about letting him go and sending him off to Colbert Nation... but on the otherhand it would let my other crafts breath easier... : D

This is my ferocious craft bear!  It loves to eat craft humans and other craft animals.

My bear tore apart a fellow craft bear to show you what the bear is made out of.  The rocks are just garden-filler plant rocks that I stuffed in the bear-ass to make it so the bear could balance.  It sits up all by itself! Hopefully soon the bear will be sitting atop Steven Colberts bookshelf, as I intend on sending him the bear after completing this challenge.

Here is the fierce craft bear sneaking up on his unsuspecting pointy kitty craft prey (Hillary Lang posted the kitty pattern on the Craft magazine blog. Thanks Hillary!).

This is my first challenge!  It was a blast.
