4  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / rainbow connection bag on: January 25, 2007 05:50:30 PM
I made this bag for school, but decided that it's much too large.  I'll probably use it for trips to the beach or something because it looks like it'd be good at that.

it was so easy to make!  if anyone would like a tutorial, i could total make one.

9  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Captain Jean Luc Picard Necklace! on: December 13, 2006 12:07:38 PM
As any Trekkie knows, Captain Jean Luc Picard is the greatest leader of our future. And sometimes, when faced with a diffcult situation, it's a good idea to ask yourself, "What Would Picard Do?"

The bracelet says W.W.P.D.? and the necklace has a picture of the captain.  I chose the beads to match the colors of their uniforms.  This is my first time making jewelry, but I think it turned out ok!
10  Washington / Washington: Southeast / Re: Moving to Kennewick... on: December 13, 2006 11:31:14 AM
I'm from Kennewick!
as far as crafting supplies go, there's a few chain stores, like Craft Warehouse and Joanne's and such.  There's also some needlework places, but they're not very hip.  I really like Sandy's in downtown Kennewick for knit fabric.  If you're looking for vintage clothes, there's this great place in Richland called The Rusty Pelican, and 321 in Kennewick has some good stuff too...that's all I can think of right now, hope that helped Smiley
