My mom and I are going to Ireland in July with our significant others, so I decided to make her a travel journal to go along with this little "Dublin At Hand" guide book that I bought her for Christmas. This is my first time posting images on here, so I'm extremely sorry if I do something wrong. Just let me know and I'll correct it:)

http://img7.photobucket.com/albums/v21/robots8myheart/firstpage.jpg this is the first page:)

http://img7.photobucket.com/albums/v21/robots8myheart/mapstudy.jpg Michaels has some cute travel paper in the scrapbooking section..so I've thrown in a few pages of various prints..And I'm being dumb.

http://img7.photobucket.com/albums/v21/robots8myheart/pages2.jpg more..

http://img7.photobucket.com/albums/v21/robots8myheart/pages1.jpg and again..
http://img7.photobucket.com/albums/v21/robots8myheart/pinin.jpg i made this page out of some thick black foam from Michaels. I put a few pushpins in it, and lucky me - they don't come out the other side:) I just thought it'd be handy in case she found some cute business cards or flyers and whatnot.
http://img7.photobucket.com/albums/v21/robots8myheart/photopage.jpg and here's one of the photo pages I made.

It was a really fun project, and I enjoyed it even more because I love my mom so much:) I think she'll get a lot of use out of this. I just bought a cheap mini 3 ring binder from Walmart, and used cardstock and regular lined paper (all cut down to size and hole punched) for the "stuffing" and threw in some of the pretty decorative travel paper. Very easy:)
3  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re:Beach/Hawaiian decor on: November 10, 2003 02:28:58 PM
Thanks a lot!:) Very creative ideas!
I just bought some fabric with a beach scene featuring surf boards and old Ford Woodys that I plan on making into a duvet cover.
The bedside table idea is awesome, and I searched for more ideas like that and found a great place to buy Raffia (the grass skirt material) and that opened up a whole new dimension of crafts for me.
Thanks again:)

I was wondering if anyone here could help me with my current project.
I'm redecorating my bedroom, and everything is going to be beach/hawaiian themed. (Think blues & greens, beach photos, my surf board, some surft art i've done, etc.)
I need some ideas for decor. Whether it be for the walls, bedding, tables, ANYTHING.
I'd really appreciate any suggestions. Thanks a lot!
