4  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Final Fantasy Scarf! on: February 05, 2005 01:10:39 PM
My brother nearly had a heart attack when he saw this scarf and now demands that i make him one. Charts would be super sweet! and it would also help to end the onslaught of my little bro's nagging.
Congrats on your first cable it looks awesome!

Have him send you some of the pop. Especially Fanta. Now you can get these things in the US of A but in England they are made of REAL SUGAR none of this hydrogenated corn syrup crap. Also all the magazines i saw that you buy at the news stands had prizes in them. There is a music magazine that everytime i got it had a sampler cd! The girly ones have good stuff too. But seriously, cadbury chocolate is all you need.

I did that too, using acrlic that is. Mine turned out ok but the gauge was a bit off so its kind of monstrous. I like it though because i can wash it. The best part about finishing something is when you tell people you made it and all the super reactions you get.

i think you should put a scottie dog applique on the front. That would be rad. Or else you could do something else cool like a dinosaur which would be a suprising juxtaposition to your delightfully brittish fabric.
