1  Monster Cupcakes in Dessert by sarcasmik on: January 29, 2011 10:44:57 PM
i made these for a halloween party, but planning on making them again for the hubs for valentine's day.

just used a boxed cake mix (i know, i know...) and icing dyed green.  plus googley eyes from the craft aisle, sour gummy worms, candy corns, and plastic vampire teeth that i cut in half bc i couldn't fit the whole set without the cupcake falling apart.  i wish i had a better picture!

if anyone has any ideas on how to adapt these to look more valentine-y, i would appreciate it!  especially since candy corns are in low supply in february.  =)

2  digicam cozy? in Discussion and Questions by sarcasmik on: January 02, 2005 12:17:16 AM
i just bought a new digital camera (my christmas present to myself, lol), but the carrying case it came with is horrific.  i really want to make a cozy, but i don't knit at all and have very limited sewing abilities.  i was thinking about making one out of craft foam somehow, but i'm not sure how to go about it.  any tips or suggestions about what to make one out of or even how to spruce up the case i already have?

here's what i'm working with:

3  Re: Old windows...any ideas? in What the heck can I do with THIS? by sarcasmik on: December 08, 2004 03:09:27 PM
here are the pictures of what's hanging in my kitchen, as promised.  they look a little warped (i had to resize them for the post - they're huge!), but you can click them for the full-sized versions.  Smiley

1.  far-away picture (to give you an idea of how it's hung up)

2.  close-up (see the ugly light fixture?)

3.  it looks so pretty with the lights on!

4  Re: creative halloween costumes in Halloween Costumes by sarcasmik on: October 31, 2004 08:21:11 AM
last year, i made a lil' miss muffett costume! it was TINY!!!  il try and post some  pics but il describe it anyway.......its pink gingham. the top is like i lil lace-up bustier, which comes below my boobs, so i wear a white gypsy top. then the skirt is really short   Shocked  and has a big net skirt underneath to make it all cute and sticky-outty! then theyrs a pretend apron with a lil spider sewn on! it is the cutest costume ever, and it only took a day or so to make!  this year a friend and i are going as the FBI, think men in black! lol

like this?  ...  =\
