I finally made my first pair of socks.  I bought this yarn because it was described as self striping.  To me, these are not stripes.  I was expecting thicker stripes.  I was disappointed in the color, but love how soft the yarn is. 





I also made a pair of yoga socks for someone at work and I can't wait to make a pair for myself.

My daughter's first birthday is next week and I made these ladybug invitations for her party.  I found the idea from this
book.  It is a great book for inspiration and ideas.

I claim lapoli for stitch markers.  This is my third claim, 0 sent, 0 received.

My name is Sandi and I live in Sacramento, California, with my husband and daughter.  I have taken a long break from swapping so Im really happy to be back again.  I will be turning 30 on December 28.  I spend as much time as I can knitting, scrappbooking and trying new crafts.

Supplies:
1.  Rubber linoleum, or self adhesive rubber (or anything else I don't know about) for making homemade stamps
2.  12 inch paper cutter
3.  Anything from/inspired by www.impressrubberstamps.com
4.  Sock yarn (would love a few different colors to make stripey socks, pinks, browns, grays, creams, turquoise, pretty much anything that goes with pink)
5.  Colored ink pads.   
6.   Soft yarn that I can dye myself.
7.   I can always use scrapbook paper thanks CrossStitchinMomma! /stamps/punches.
8.  Any size 16 inch Circular knitting needles
9.  A stylus.
10. Fabric (big polka dots, stripes, pinks, browns, turquoise, there are some examples on my wists).  Im just learning how to sew, so enough for a small purse/wallet.
11. Any old issues of Interweave Knits
12. Blocking board for my knitting.

Crafted items:
1. Fun bag (There are some on my wists that I like. I like bags with flat bottoms.) Thanks hdcase!  Ill leave this up because a girl can never have too many bags!
2. Wall organizer (there is one in my wists that I love.)
3. Spa kit (bath salts, scrubs, lotions, eye pillow, etc.)
4. Fabric (cotton) headbands with elastic.
5. Passport/ticket holder

6. A baby onesie (size 9-12 months) that says Omas Girl and has Harley Davidson flames incorporated into it somehow.
