311  CITY GUIDES FOR CRAFTSTERS / AUSTRALIA / SYDNEY market partner wanted for December.... on: October 09, 2006 04:19:40 AM
The Dulwich Hill street fair is on again! Last year 5,500 people attended, and I was lucky enough to secure a stall!

Only problem is, I don't have enough stuff to fill up a whole stall, so I'm looking for a market partner.

I don't have any pics of my current stuff, but in the past I've sold little purses, head scarves, bags, earrings, cards, et cetera. I like to use vintage and foreign fabrics and lots of buttons!

I'd love to hear from you if you'd like to join me n_n

Hello ^_^

Nice to hear from someone!

What kind of fabric do you like/need, and what would you like to trade? I've got a pretty mixed lot - some really pretty little vintage kimono pieces (baby sizes bits) larger pieces of cotton (spots, florals, et cetera), some other cute little bits I bought in Japan...
313  CITY GUIDES FOR CRAFTSTERS / AUSTRALIA / Re: Cotton flats in AU? on: September 11, 2006 09:07:32 PM
Hello ^_^

I would recommend looking in places like Chinatown, asian grocers/ $2 stores? Although I haven't seen shoes that cute, they often have little flats like that (or kung fu shoes).

Good luck!

Hi all... just signed up, & read that some AU kids were organising a fabric swap a while back... Was it successful? Would anyone be interested in starting a new one?
