Yup, agreed =)

haha! potatoes! that would crack me up!

i left a small stuffed toy in someone's letter box once, but I think that's starting to get a little weird.

I used to love leaving things on the side of the road with notes on them "free to a good home" and "I am clean and I work" for electrical stuff & then get really excited when they were gone 15 mins later!

haha! I know, I've got to be careful not to introduce the stalker element into my random acts of origami Tongue

You're a funny girl - I've never met you but you've got me excited about all kinds of crazy schemes already Tongue

my hats look better in pics than on a table, strangely enough? I had trouble puffing out their little heads well enough to make them look pretty. Still sold quite a few though, so shouldn't complain...

My Dad has a standard philosophical response "Elly, I would never be in a place like this if it wasn't for you, so you don't have to apologise" (This line has also been used in: pet supplies stores, clothing stores, craft stores, shoe stores, endless markets...)

Poor long suffering dad Tongue

Not a bad idea Tongue

I have been soooo lazy lately though! My shop is so skinny!

hehe! I though this was going to be another situation where I think I've invented something only to find out it's a global trend invented simultaneously by thousands of people... but I was wrong Tongue

I like to leave random people random presents (normally un-creepy things like paper cranes) in their letterboxes - not quite the same as letterboxing!

I am ambivalent about markets - I've had hugely sucessful days, and then really depressing miserable days! If you've got a few people in your stall that can help - they'll keep you occupied and share the $$ risks.

You might also like to look at Kiribilli (spl?) - there's a once monthly market that can be a lot of fun (and less of a committment!)

that sounds like the best trip ever! haha! I need more peope in my life who get excited about long crazy drives for things like that...

Whenever I visit my Dad in Tassie I always drag the poor man around to all of the local fairs and markets and st vinnies - I'm not sure why but they seem to have the BEST vinnies down there!
