I'm making a pea coat and I'm looking for 7/8" brown buttons. Anybody know of a good online store for buttons. thanks

This is by far my favorite tote I've made. It's 13X14 red canvas. It's fully lined with red polka dot fabric. It has two huge compartments so that books and my sketch book don't get mixed up with my cell phone and my keys!! It was super easy to make and I'm just in love with it

Hi everybody. I'd like to make my first pair of socks, but i can't seem to find just a nice, easy simple sock pattern. If anybody has a suggestion of a great book or a online pattern that would be great

okay here is the deal. I'm making a hat, not my first hat, but my first try at fair isle. and i'm stuck before I've even began!!!

1- how do you 'add on' your second color of yarn when it ask for it. I've looked for videos of fair isle and they just show you how to knit with two colors which is great, but I need a video of how to get the silly second color on.

and

2. the pattern calls of a round of design and then calls for on whole a round of white and then one whole round of blue. Everything that I'd read and watch said that you should not carry your second color for more then a few stitchs sooooo i'm just so lost. do i drop the blue and knit all white and break the blue re attach it and knit a whole round blue then start the pattern again be reattaching the white and then the blue when they ask for it??? 

I'm am so lost I hope somebody knows what I'm talking about lol... because I think I just confused myself a little. haha

Hi everybody  I was wondering if anybody knows of were I can get a easy, basic pattern for gloves. I have never knit a pair before (I have mittens) and my friend requested some for her birthday. I can't seem to find a nice simple pair.

My Boyfriend is a huge fan of walter skinner from x-files. And so for x-mass (or as long as I can keep it before being so excited about it i have to give it to him lol-something I do all the time) i thought what better way to show his love for the skinman then to have a t-shirt.....

So I want to make a stencile. I know i can be done on Works or Word on the PC but I've got a mac w/ appleworks. do know if I can do it on appleworks and if so how? HELP!!!!!! thanks



*update* so yeah. never did figure it out (haha) but I remember around 1:30am that i had another program on my computer that I could make a stencil in. so if anybody has a mac and has 'graphicconvert' you can make one in there good luck everybody

After finally finshing my irish hiking scarf (which seemed to take Years to make lol) i was itching for a quick knit. I had come across this cute owl cable hat a while back and had some yarn I had no project in mind for and wipped this baby up in two nights.





It was super easy and I think it turned out cute.  I didn't remember to bookmark the pattern or I would give it to everybody lol. sorry person who made the pattern

I've been knitting for just about a year. I've mostly made scarfs and one hat. So I decided that it was time to try mittens. They aren't perfect, but I made them and I am super proud of them
The yarn is yummy noro Kureyo , knitted up on size 6 dpn.

for some reason lately I've felt like wearing bracelets. Well since I hardly wear them I only have one. So I decided to try my hand at making one. It's nothing speical. I just really liked the beads. So here it is, my very first try at making a bracelet
