Uh, yeah. I was planning on doing some crafting on a project tonight when I looked at the date and realized I need to set that aside for tonight and see about finishing up my swap project a bit early! I'm so excited. It's coming together and looking so cute, I think :-D

That board is an excellent idea! Really, really great! I'm so good at being green in many aspects of daily life, but I fail miserably at using/eating perishables in the fridge. I feel so horrible whenever I purge mold food that would have fed us a decent meal Wouldn't it be great if they made fridge doors see-through? It would keep me motivated to have the fridge clean and organized and that alone would help me work my way through leftovers more efficiently!

Alphabrett received from me and I know she's super busy so since I'm here, I'm going to go ahead and post the stuff I sent to her.

First, I sent her the materials and directions for homemade laudnry soap. I made a 2 gallon batch of soap 2 months ago which cost me maybe 60 cents total and I'm just starting on the second half of it:


To go with the laundry theme, I made a set of 4 dryer balls out of stash yarn. I started using wool dryer balls in place of disposable one-time-use sheets and love that my clothes are still soft:


She said she wanted "something cute" for her garden so I decided to do garden plant markers. She told me she was going to grow tomatoes, carrots, and potatoes and that she likes owls. I broke out my polymer clay which I've never worked with except to play, really, and here's what I came up with:

you can see them in the bigger group shot, but she also sent me a bandana, a zippered pouch, and a couple of microfiber cloths that I can use for dusting and on my swiffer. She also sent a cute journal that's filled with recipes and frugal tips. Thanks Alphabrett! I love everything!

Oh my goodness, I love these packages! The clothespins are so cute! the apron is awesome and the swiffer cover rocks. According to the tracking, my partner received today! Can't wait to see if she liked it all :-)

sent? already? And I was thinking the send out date was the end of the month. Oops. No worries, I'll still make the 15th deadline! I'm on track for that at least!
