1  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Drink Cozies on: January 08, 2008 08:32:02 PM
Okay those are great...though they are for mugs not bottles....Though I am not bad mouthing them!  They are something that I will work up for myself (big coffee drinker).  My brother is not a coffee drinker...He is more of an adult drink drinker....

Thanks again
2  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Drink Cozies on: January 08, 2008 04:33:42 PM
It is about that time of year....I need to start thinking of something to knit that is not going to be real heavy or hot.  So I am on the net searching for bottle covers or cozies.  I found a few but I was wondering if there were any more.  I saw some on Knitty Gritty today and I know right away who I can make them for!  This is the best project that I give my brother...he won't touch the scarf or the socks so....

Thanks for the help!

6  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Safety Pin Ornaments on: October 25, 2007 09:47:20 AM
The other day I went to Walmart and bought a couple Safety Pin Angel kits.  I use to love making these free standing ornaments as a kid and now that I have nephews I would love to share that fun with them.  I know that there are the angels and the Christmas trees but I was wondering if there are anymore??  I did a search last night and this morning on the net but all I get is the little pins not the Ornaments!

Any help with my search would be great!!

Which Bead and Button did you say you got the idea from??  Whats on the cover?  I just went through my magazines and I bet that is the one I am missing... My mother just went through my craft stuff stating something about her being tired of it leaking out of my room...
8  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / How do you make a safety pin Christmas tree? on: November 26, 2006 11:14:01 AM
Okay have you ever been in search for something that you know is out there some where, but in the end never find it??  I seem to be in that situation....again!  My brother and I use to make these Chrismas trees out of beads and safety pins.  We would make them for presents for the grandparents that they could put on their tables, or in one family members case on their mantel...   I know that I own a pattern SOMEWHERE but after 2 weeks of searching my files I can't find it.  Of course.

If anyone can help me in my search...Like "Hey stupid they sell them at Michaels" ...Anything would be great, and I thank you for your time.

Thanks mmd32 I had been to the first two sites that you posted.  Never saw the third, so I bookmarked it.

And for Lupinbunny I wish I could knit but unfortunately no matter how hard I try I think that is going to something I am never going to pick up! Thank you for the site anyway!

Please if anyone else some sites or information on books please keep them coming!!
