71  Re: SCAVENGER HUNT ATC Cards. What can YOU do with these materials? in Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) by Sindy on: December 04, 2006 10:33:11 AM
Do you ever get an idea in your head that you just can't make come out on paper?  Well, here's what I ended up with, but it doesn't match what I had planned.

A Queen of Spades scanned and printed black and white.  A crossword puzzle scanned and and shrunk to fit the center of the card.  I painted ever other square red.  A plastic button that looks like brass with a crown and a 'royal' crest.  little pieces of ribbon glued onto the design of the queen.  My 5-letter word is queen cut from foil and glued on a piece of post it.  Black in is used around the sides of the card.  Fortune glued on the side of the card.  And the 2 little spades are cut from brown paper bag.

Here's a card I just finished for a friend.  G is for 'El Gato' she made such a huge deal of not liking the Cat in the Hat that I couldn't help myself. Grin

I also got my cards from Katxena, O is for Occassion:

The picture doesn't do it justice, the little cutlery is not black but silver, it's a beautiful card.  Thank you, Kat.

And the most amazing M card from Banga, M is for masquerade:

It is absolutely incredible, I love it, thanks, Banga.

I received the best "N" card from rackyroo!  N is for nonsense:

Thank you, I LOVE it!!  (It reminds me of the TVcommercial they're showing so much of lately.  People walking down the street and scissors dancing along waiting to cut up their credit cards)

Thanks, G, I love it!
