2  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Zombie Haile Selassie on: November 01, 2013 06:36:34 PM
Costume made for a friend this Halloween. Made in 15 hours over 3 days. Lots of pretty fabrics! Zombie Haile Selassie!

Fabrics....
Robe....
Hat and sash....

Reversible piece that went over the robe....

And all done!

I procrastinated too long and finished the day of Halloween! It was really fun, pretty challenging and awesome all around!

And the Wiki link for those who are curious http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haile_Selassie_I Smiley
3  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Robin on: November 01, 2012 01:23:35 PM

So, my inspiration was Robin from the old Batman television show. I procrastinated till I only had 1 week to get my costume made! Bought items were the gauntlets that I altered, the belt, shoes and leotard, but everything else was sewn by me!

materials!

Patterned and sewed the vest and cape collar in the first night!

Tada!

My favorite was the POW! that I made with shield like handles on the back for posing for pictures!
