2  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Get Product and Website Opinions / Re: I need opinions on which font to use on: October 08, 2006 07:57:32 PM
Cool, then you could take its tail and wrap it around one of the letters, and make the sizes of the letters so that the mermonkey is laying comfortably on top of the letters instead of flat with plain white space between the two

This is actually what I went to school for....

You should try using differant fonts together
For example
"EX" in one font "periment" in another font then the "no. 99" in one of the two

Also play around with differant sizes. "ex" bigger then "periment" the "no." bigger then the "99" or the other way around

You dont want to go to radical of a differance between the two fonts but you want to notice a differance.

If yuo can draw or know anyone that can think about making one of the letters into a picture... maybe a woman leaning up against the straight part of the "p" facing the "x"

5  Archive of Past Craftster Challenge Entries / CHALLENGE 15 ENTRIES / My creation got my coworker pregnant!!! (BookBot) on: October 04, 2006 08:33:47 PM
I work in a book store. It sucks a lot, but its cool too.

One day while opening the shipment the boxes trembled! Books toppled from the shelves and from their wake emerged

BOOKBOT! (oooooo)

Bookbot with the mother...

And Bookbot with me

Now unfortunatly BookBot got a little violent and we had to call the coppers on him. They kinda laughed so I threw him out...

(Plus my boss would flip if she had came in the next mornin and saw that....)

6  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Re: What do you do with handmade journals? on: October 04, 2006 07:50:44 PM
I have this problem also! I have over 20 journals/sketchbooks laying in a drawer just waiting to be used.

What I usually end up doing with them is making them into photo journals. Take like photos and put them in there nice.

One other thing I did was for my mother. I took a bunch of baby pictures of myself and my brother and some nice quotes from a quote book and put them in on random pages so SHE could use it as a journal.

I personally cant bring myself to write in them though because I always think the journal is to pretty for my angry thoughts ^^ Plus if I make a mistake! Gah
7  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: Show us your Photoshop and PSP art!!! on: September 24, 2006 09:14:23 PM
loukr: the second one being the black & white one? That one I took from a stock of a girl with her back arched and skirt doing this fun twirl type thing, I painted over it with white to make the silhouette and then added the butterflies and vines.

I love photoshop ^^ I can sit and play with it for days on end.
Not to mention I can sit and look through other peoples art for days on end, there are some great talents here Smiley

This one was a photomanip. All the differant stocks are listed in the description.

This was a dancer I made for my mother.

And this I dont know how it came to be.. but I like it Smiley
