did anyone sign up for the art star craft show in philly?  it's in june....  i missed them (signups ended 4/14) , but i'd love to see some of us reppin' there!!!!!!

I applied ; )
cross fingers that I get in again

I walked thru the Art Star last year.  It was raining I believe both days, so there wasnt a great turn out.  It is a great idea, and I hope the people that had a table did good, but there was so much of the "same" stuff, that I wonder if they made at least the money back on the space (I think it was like $100).  I wish you the best of luck and maybe I will see you there. Yeah, I know that if it is something greasy you can put something greasy on top of it to help lift the stain. I know that sounds crazy, but I got oil from a jet ski engine on my bikini once, and the only thing that I had was hand lotion from the hotel room, and it took it right up. Just dont put it in the dryer because that will set the stain. Hope that hopes. BTW nice shirt Smiley
8  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Lime Green Shrug/Sleeveless Sweater worn by Uma in Be Cool on: March 27, 2005 03:17:09 PM
I saw the movie, Be Cool and in one of the scenes Uma Therman was wearing a green sleevless sweater, shurg kinda thing, with a hood. I fell in love with it instantly but searched for a pattern but i cant find anything. I think if I was more confident with my knitting I would do it myself, and just make a pattern, but Im not. Could somebody please help me out ?! Here is a front image of it, http://us.movies1.yimg.com/movies.yahoo.com/images/hv/photo/movie_pix/mgm/be_cool/uma_thurman/becool1.jpg the back scoops down really low.
9  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / What to make with Colinette Wigwam on: February 08, 2005 04:15:32 PM
Ok so I have about 4 sks (2 of each colour) of Colinette Wigwam. And I am a fairly new knitter, really have only knitted about a 2 dozen scarfs and about 5 hats so far, but I have this wonderfull yarn and I have no clue what I want to make with it.  I want to try something more advanced and I dont really like ponchos or anything like that. Any suggestions??!!
