I made one tonight.... and I"ve cut out a few more and even one for knitting needles (it's being donated to an online auction at one site I visit).

ok, magic scarf is done....

well, I wanted to try a magic scarf on my KK looms. I thought it would make a nice Christmas gift, but the more I knitted it, the more I like the yarn for myself.... so I'm not sure if it will be a Christmas gift or not.

If you don't know what a magic scarf is, it's a scarf that can be worn in different ways, b/c it stretches.

Here are some of the ways this one can be worn. I needed to have really done it on the yellow KK loom, but I went by the Provo Craft site and used the green one, so it can't go down on my shoulders like they are suppose to do.

I'm going to work on a blue one next, on the yellow loom, so hopefully it will fit better.

I've got a magic scarf (I hope) on my green loom. Then I'm not sure what I'm making on my blue loom..... or if it will stay on there.

I just finished a scarf using some plush yarn, and I love how it turned out.

I think I'll do another one, but make it more of a gathering scarf.

When I made hats on the knifty knitter last year I did not cast off at the top, but ran the yarn straight through all the loops as I slipped them off the loom, pulling them together and making a tight little O at the top of the hat, which I covered with a pom pom if it was not a fluffy yarn.  There will still be gathers at the top, but less pointy and more graceful.  Hope that helps!

on the last scarf I did, after doing this one the ends, the middle didn't give me any problems. here is the last one I did.



but if you are still having problems, maybe some knit, purl all the way through it.
