Thank you both so much!  Cheesy I'm so sorry that I didn't realize it was crocheted, I guess I'm not experienced enough to distinguish between the two yet. Again, thank you so much!
3  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Could someone please help me identify this stitch? =] on: July 27, 2008 01:30:30 PM
Hello there! Cheesy

For a winter clothing drive, my friend and I were hoping to knit one hundred scarves to donate to those in need. (as well as some hats, too, hopefully!  Smiley )

I was searching online for some inspiration and I found this scarf:

I was wondering if any of you wonderful knitters out there know what type of stitch this is? I'm pretty certain that it is not a regular rib because it seems to lay flat. I think that it may be a broken rib, but I am not certain.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!  Cheesy Thank you all so much!

beautiful! I have two questions, if you don't mind.
1. Are those fabrics from Ikea?
2. Did you use a pattern, and if so, could you please tell me which one?

thank you! and I think that that may have actually been three questions. =]
