Beadissimo!! It's a really cool store and they have A LOT of advanced classes, including chain maille, metalwork, and glass.

4  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re: okay, this isn't exactly craft related, but i still need help ... on: July 13, 2005 08:47:28 PM
Why not make a Bernie Carbo craft for your mom for her birthday instead? There are lots of crafts that you can do with pictures. This one is really cool! And so is this one.

Also, you may find just the autograph (without the hat) more affordable.
5  UNITED STATES / Tennessee / Re: memphis helps! on: July 10, 2005 10:57:09 PM
The Otherlands Cafe in Memphis is totally worth a stop (for the gift shop alone).

Beale Street is kind of a must, even if it's just during the day. And Schwab's is definitely a must!!

And the Civil Rights Museum is totally worthwhile.

AND... the Pink Palace Museum is fun too.

If I were visiting Memphis for the first time and didn't have a lot of money to spend on museum admissions, I'd be happy to people-watch around downtown Memphis. Especially on Beale Street! There is lots going on there!!

Hanabi - I'm in the same situation, actually. I use Best Buy.com to find dimensions of gadgets, here are the dimensions for the 20 GB iPod.
