2  CLOTHING / Designer Clothing Homage / Bebe dress in Teen Vogue. Help, please? on: April 11, 2009 09:25:33 AM
I saw this dress in the magazine. The only problem is that I am not sure how I should go about making the skirt, which has so much volume near the waist. Any advice would be appreciated. Smiley

3  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions / removing safety eyes? on: February 28, 2008 04:13:43 PM
So, I was working on a stuffed toy. I decided that I didn't like the 12mm safety eyes after putting them in and backing them with the plastic washers. They're really tough to remove... Is there an easy way?
4  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / stretchy and strong fabric? (need to know ASAP) on: January 16, 2008 05:19:49 PM
What is the stretchiest and strongest fabric out there? Is there anything that stretches more than spandex? It'd be nice if you can refer me to a website that can help me too. I need to know as soon as possible. Thanks in advance. Smiley
5  FIBER ARTS / Dyeing: Discussion and Questions / dyeing acrylics yarn on: June 22, 2007 09:45:14 AM
I crocheted a top out of variegated acrylics yarn, and I was wondering if it was possible to dye it so that it would become a solid color. If it is possible, what kind of dye would you recommend? I searched craftster for this topic, but I didn't find any. I could've missed something, so I'm sorry if this had been posted before. Thanks in advance.
