I've seen someone post about a swap like this on their blog- where you send your partner supplies and your partner makes items from those supplies. You can use things in your stash, but can't buy anything and everything your partner sends you must be used in the making of something. You then send the completed items back to your partner!
I think we would have to restrict who could be in the swap- like you will have had to done at least 1/2/3/however many swaps successfuly. Becuase you need to know a person can be trusted- before you send them your much loved supplies. I'm not saying newbie swappers aren't trustworthy- but I would feel secure sending to someone who will send my stuff back, if you get what I mean!

Hello, this is my first skirt, that actually worked out ok, apart from the wonkyness- but you can't really tell- so I won't go there. I got this cute fabric in a swap. I was going to make pj pants from it, but then I saw this post:
Ok so I'm co-organising the 1950's swap. The organiser is really busy so I'm helping out. However I have a big problem and I don't know what to do!
A swapper says that she sent to her partner a few weeks ago, she gave me a dc number- but it was only 13 digits long- DC's are normally 20 digits long. The DC did not exsist. However she says that she went to the post office and they told her it had been delivered, but how would she know without proper tracking?
The swapper's partner thinks that perhaps the package she sent could be sent pack to her, as obviously the other package is either not sent or lost in the post.
I've been keeping in contact with both swappers but I don't know what do, do i post for an angel? or do something else?
Stripey tote bag. Made from a vintage pillowcase. Very tiny. It has a flat bottom, is interfaced, and the bottom is reinforced with cardboard. I need to line it in white cotton and add handles from the stripey fabric:
