11  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / 63 flutterbies! on: December 30, 2008 12:57:34 AM
When I saw this:

http://aliedwards.typepad.com/_a_/2008/02/weekend-creat-2.html

I knew I HAD to make it!

Most of the paper is from an old IKEA catalogue, some bright post-it notes, aluminum foil (heehee), junk mail, some coloured card, glitter glued paper and one coloured in with a gel pen. Hehe, the glitter glue one seems to have warped a little, I have to press it under a book or two to flatten it out, wouldn't do to have to it fly off the page! Punching the shapes out of the IKEA catalogue was a pain because the paper was so flimsy, so i just used printer paper underneath so give it more ... "body." I didn't have foam dots, so I used foam tape which I cut into itty bitty bits. Loads of fun, and perfect way to use scrap paper. I LAHV it!

I have the perfect frame for it, but the paper (A4 black card) is too small, so I will have to figure out a border that will enhance it. Will put up finished frame in a few hours  Smiley
12  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Tote Bag goodness! on: October 23, 2008 08:21:01 AM
Hi All,

I sold these ages ago, but I can't believe I've not posted any photos here!

They're not as wonky as they seem, a professional photog i am not  Wink

I made two of the last one, there were four in total. And I am still beating myself up for not taking a group shot grrrr Angry This is what happeneds when one stays up (delays) till 3 in the morning to finish projects that are due the next day. What can I say, I work best at night. I don't have a sewing machine at my new home, and I am getting withdrawal symptoms *whimpers*

On with the photos!

13  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / My Homage to Autumn - beadwork wallhanging on: October 23, 2008 07:15:12 AM
Hi All!

(I'm sorry if I'm breaking some kind of rules, but I posted this in the needlework board as well, wasn't sure where it belongs)

So, I found these amazing faux suede wallhangings at Woolworth's for 5 which literally screamed at me to do something on them. Yes, I have an obsession for all things circular and mirrors. And I am unashamed  Cool When I finished the first one, I was so excited that I had to post a picture!

On with the pictures!

The three frames are each a different colour and I intend to do the same colour combo beadwork on them.

I made these to sell. They're about 4.5" x 9". They came out sooo cute that i dont want to sell them! Grin hehe, i seriously should make more things for myself!!! i made them using e.r.i.k.a.'s lined pouch tutorial and added a ribbon. They can be used as wristlets or pencil cases or whatever.

and their closeups:

Which one's your favourite? Comments would be appreciated! Thanks for looking! Kiss
16  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Some Earrings on: January 16, 2007 08:48:58 AM
(Sorry about the quality of the pictures, I'm still trying to get the hang of this camera)

I made these aaaaaaages ago using a jig that I had made myself  Grin

I loved neovamp's jewellery, so i decided to make something on a smaller scale. I wanted something that I could wear with anything, hence the profusion of colours.

And my version of the Tree of Life:

Thanks for looking! I'd love to hear comments!
