This is going to be my make-myself-feel-good favourite quotes album. I think I will take it slow and really enjoy the process of creating my first full blown mini album    Besides, if I buy all the things that I want for this baby, I shall have racked a bill worthy of a heart attack     First toy that I bought was a Dymo, and I am sooooooo happy with it!

It has 21 "leaves" which gives me about 42 pages to experiment to my hearts content  It is 11 cm x 11 cm (approx 4.4 inches) Enough babbling, here are some photos of the more interesting pages.

I still have a lot to learn, not to mention more scrap things to buy, *sigh* I would like to get some more embelishments. And a crop-a-dile. The front and back cover would look just perfect with eyelets. The word "art" are wooden letters that I found and painted, in the kids craft section of a stationary shop, well worth a look in my humble opinion, one can always find some good things there that can be easily altered.

I got into making inchies recently after drooling over Phizzychick's inchies and much stalking  So I came up with these, being my 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th inchies ever!

The hubby and I recently finished watching all the seasons of Seinfeld, so this called for a tribute to our marathon. Inspired of course by: http://www.flickr.com/photos/rubykhan/2811826948/ I didn't lahv the original minipop version of Seinfeld (http://www.flipflopflyin.com/minipops/ ) so I came up with my own 

I'm not sure if it's complete yet, I think I will cross stich some pretzels in the corners. It is 11 count Aida, I think. All I had on hand at the moment

oooh, lots of alliteration in the subject! makes me heppy!  sorry, there should be a dorky smiley for such purposes!

So, I live in UK, and I haven't seen my family in about a year. Ma's birthday was coming up, so I decided something special was due!

Hope you like it, I loved every second of making it, and I can see this too becoming an addiction. It took ages because i wanted every page to be just purrrfect, and distressing every itty bit bit of paper took a while. (first time distressing, did not use ink, I used diluted acrylics and a sponge) So here goes ...









It is embellished with beads, sequins, gems, glitter glue, the celtic motif on the front i cut out with a craft knife and hand sponged, foam punchouts, and of course photographs from my wedding and photos of my last few days at home in Pakistan. The paper I used was green cardstock and Papermania's Retro Floral paper. The finished album is about 2.3" x 2.3" x 0.7"

Don't you just love it when your signifcant other says "yes, you can make this prettier!" ? Oh well i tried, maybe they're still  WIP, what do you guys think?



hehe, i found the celtic stencil thingy on the internet, so i printed it out (yes, ordinary printer paper) and then cut it out with a craft knife, and then sponged silver acrylic paint on to give it a slightly texturized feel:



and here's what i ended up with:



and all filled up with icky bills:



oooh, and the spraycan leaked so i hadta take a picture of that  :



and the photoframe with methinks needs a little something extra in the back, maybe a foam E or an elephant or tree silhouette, or maybe cordinating dragonflies. it's about 4.5"x4.5" and the elephants my father got from Sri Lanka. mmmm, will sit on that one a bit, but would appreciate some ideas:



and I couldn't bear to throw the stencil printer paper away, so i cut the shapes out for embellishing future projects 



I also can't decide whether or not I would like to border the organiser's edges with a dark chocolate to make it pop a little, but meh, not sure. the spray painting job's not perfect because i ran out, and didn't want to get another one.  Comments are always welcome  Thankyou for looking!
