Okay, I've received from the truly wonderful addicted2knitting. To says she spoilt me is an understatement. Prepare for pic heaviness.
Here is the bag, which is lined, closes with a zip and has a zipped pocket and is absolutely perfect in every way, in fact I never want to put it down. Ever.
She sent me two books! Here is a 1929 edition of Oliver Twist, by Dickens, which fulfills two reading fantasies in one. Reading a classic, in an old book. I've started reading and it is totally addictive.
Neil Gaiman, who is an author I had only ever heard of on this thread (thanks guys!) I can't wait to start it either. Intriguing.
Check this bookmark! Pretty felt and I love the shadow effect of the writing and the embroidery stitches which attach random squares on the other side.
Finally, addicted2knitting and I both agreed to exchange touristy postcards, because I've never travelled overseas and I love postcards. Check out this haul! Also in the centre bottom are the book plates she designed for me. I'm having trouble deciding which of my favourite books get the treatment lol.
