Hey I have the same problem. I have these two "band buddies" basically, we write letters to kindergarteners so that they learn to read and write and whatnot. I am meeting them for the first time on the 20th I believe. Their names are Sam and Olivia and they have already drawn me the cutest things, rumor has it the little ones will have presents for us, so we should make somehting for them.
If anyone has any ideas as to what I could give both a girl and a boy that is cute and Christmas themed, It's be greatly appreichiated.
I made these awhile back after reading your post...my picture sucks (the pearls don't actually glow! and the ribbon looks better in person) but I thought I'd post anyways cuz I'm avoiding writing a term paper ...
w00t. so am I!!
I love that necklace. i'd do that with mine too, but I don't have anything to wear it with. meh.
I have a 36 page one on my wall. In my experience the bigger the better. I have done several of varing sizes, and I love my 25-40 page ones the most. If you only use 4 pages, you loose a lot of the detail.
And it is easiest just to print them on different color pages. I have one that is a rainbow...
I love it. I need it. I want it. Tutorial please, I've never made a purse of...tape?
As for the person who never read the spin offs, I personally love squee and Filler Bunny. Squee is like JTHM in its sick humor, but it is light hearted and mocks education. Then I love filler bunny because it is just cute. I have never read I Feel Sick because I am not a huge fan of Devi.
My mom and dad are both turning 50 in the next week, so i was wondering if anyone had any crafty ideas of things to give them. I don't want to do like, "I'll wash the dishes coupons" or anything like that.
Chuang Tzu's butterfly dream - "Once upon a time, I, Chuang Tzu, dreamt I was a butterfly ... Now I do not know whether I was then a man dreaming I was a butterfly, or whether I am now a butterfly, dreaming I am a man."
I used that quote on a ceramics tile I made last year.
Unfortuantely, the yellow star fell off my phone, I haven't replaced it yet. I still have a ton more shrinky dinks that I haven't made into cell phone straps. I love the buddha one I made, but my mom told me it was real silver, so I don't want to risk losing it. ^_^
Yeah I should get working on that, afterall, I have a studyhall during which I sleep so as to avoid AP english work...
