1  new age clown shoes. in Shoes: Completed Projects by tazelryth on: January 04, 2007 04:40:25 PM
Okay, so I've had these UGLY shoes forever, so I finally did something with them. Originally, I wrote things on them with sharpie, but then I painted them with acrylics.
I'll probably just use them to go to the park where I don't care what happens to 'em. The laces are just crocheted slip stitches.
This is my first shoe post.  Cheesy

2  How to make the filling in this? Please help! in Discussion and Questions by tazelryth on: December 14, 2006 12:53:38 PM
I need to do a culminating project for english class on the book I read. I read Eragon (great book, i recommend it), and I created an egg as my visual representation for it. I wanted to fill it with something so it could portray a scene in the book. If you've read the part of the battle where the Urgals come and attack Eragon and the Trolls, that's the part. I'm including an example of what I want.

The only problem I have, is what to fill it with?? Maybe plaster,or cardboard. I was thinking sand, even. The trolls will be like little army guys, or If I go to the dollar store, maybe even little figures. I need ideas, what do you think will look good in there? Will it hold?

The egg, by the way, is made out of paper mache and plaster. The arrow has a meaning - all the things Eragon's gone through to get where he is.

3  First post, first project! Harry Potter scarf!! in Crochet: Completed Projects by tazelryth on: August 31, 2006 08:43:24 AM
Hey! I'm new to this site, and I'm pretty new to crocheting!
I was going to make a POA scarf, but I copied down the pattern wrong, so it's thick bars!!
I really like it though.
I finished it in about 4.5 days.

My floor wearing it.

Folded over once.

I followed this pattern, but copied it down wrong: http://luvtocraft.blogspot.com/2004/06/harry-potter-scarf.html

So, there's seven rows of red and three of yellow.

Hope you enjoy!
