My friend's baby is due the end of this month. She wants some tie dye onesies and bibs.

Can anyone recommend dyes or techniques, are they wash proof and will they be ok for a newborn?

Will only 100% wool felt or would a wool blend also felt?   So far, I have felted with various 100% wool yarns but I found some other great yarns that I would like to try but would like advice before I go ahead.

Any help or tips appreciated.
