I like the way it sort of flounces out at the hips. It has an interesting shape.
Lovely fabric too.

Just had to say that I think it looks very stylish, and your black shoes set it off perfectly. Well done. Enjoy your dress.

Hello, that's a lovely skirt.
A little ruffle or two at the bottom would look cute, IMHO.
In the same colour fabric or in the dark red colour you used for the piping if you have enough.

558  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: Problems Cooking Brown Rice :( on: October 04, 2006 11:23:55 PM
Here's another tip: my secret weapon in the war against dry rice:
once the ingredients are in the pot, cover over with aluminium foil and fold down around the top of the pot. Then jam the lid on, tight. The foil makes an extra seal to keep in the steam.
Hang around with the heat up high until it boils (you can hear it bubble) then turn it down to as low as it can go.
Go away and come back in 30mins. No peeking! Then the rice will be perfect.
PS I always measure in the rice first and add twice as much water as rice.

Hello,
not sure if it is what you are looking for, but the Gorman House Markets (on each Sat) has a stall with 2nd hand clothes and very funky retro fabric (think paisley, seersuckers and 70's prints). It's inside.
Sadly Spotlight at Qbn mostly towels and sheets.

Catjonfitz, your top looks great. Do you mind if I ask what fabric you used?
