1  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: market bag on: May 15, 2008 07:42:57 AM
I've used this pattern and I love your modification! This bag is super stretchy and fabric handles would give it more strength.
Thank-you!  I actually made several other mods to this pattern, probably so many I could call it my own now.  Besides the handles, I made it wider and shorter so it doesn't stretch down 3 feet when you put stuff in it.  I took the one in this post apart and redid it with the improvements after I saw what it looked like with something in it, I was horrified and would not have asked my worst enemy to use it!  It's all good now though, much nicer!

I'll have to do that to the next one that I make beacuse I get the strangest looks walkin' out of the grocery store almost dragging my groceries along the ground.

I just found this thread and am flabbergasted no one voted for a kitch remake! I would love to see people make beer can hats and big dress doll t-p covers! Just think a goth dressed
t-p cover!

theme ideas:
manly man patterns
Amiguru-mi household items
find something that needs a cozy and make one.
wild and wacky hats
I also love the special techniques idea!

I guess maybe you should write a book called Never Crochet Your Man A Blanket Till You've Seen What a Jerk He Is! Good luck and chin up, you're a craftster; be crafty!  Also, remember Pain=art just look at Van Gogh Tongue

Check the label on the pillow form as well.A lot of new pillow forms can be air dried with no problems.

My mother in-law has a black border afghan and I love it & have been contemplating making one. I think they're wonderful. Good choice! I like your color palate as well.
