1  Texas / Texas: North Central / Arlington area: Moving Sale at Jo Ann's in Pantego area on: August 29, 2006 10:30:57 PM
The Jo Ann's off of Bowden is moving to south Arlington so everything is 20-70% off.  Their fabrics are pretty well picked over (except for the decorator stuff on the large rolls), but I got a lot of cute yarn for 30 to 40 off, and all their bamboo needles are 20% off I think.  And all patterns are 1.99, which is cool cause I don't know that I've ever seen Vogue better than 75% off.  SO yeah, if you're in the area, its worth a look, for sure.
2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Knitting needle roll...that counts as a 'bag' right? on: August 28, 2006 10:16:11 PM
I'm the most disorganized person ever...except when it comes to putting things in my knitting bag.  So I decided to make rolls to hold my straight needles and crochet hooks so that I could take them with me without having a bit of an OCD fit cause of clutter Smiley  Only I couldn't decide on which fabrics I liked the best so I ended up making way more than I could logically use.

These are pics of the very first one I ever made: hamburgers and fries!  (I have a thing for stuff that either looks like food but isn't or has pictures of food on it.  I dunno, I'm a bit odd...)

This is the roll itself.

And the inside...

And the main print!

So yeah, this is my latest craft project and I'm pretty pleased with the results:)   Anyway, thanks for looking! Comments would be much appreciated:)
