1  FIBER ARTS / Spinning: Discussion and Questions / I can't find a particular blog/yarn - help? on: December 23, 2006 03:30:53 PM
Okay, so I was on here a few weeks ago and someone had posted a response to a completed project, I clicked on this persons blog, and loved it!  The only problem is I thought I added it to favorites but now I cannot find it.  I was hoping someone would be able to tell me the link to her blog.

She is extremely talented.  Spins her yarn from very unusual things (fabric, trinkets, anything she feels like)  For instance, I believe the last yarn I was looking at, she had cut up some vintage sheets and sewn flowers along the way and spun that all into a beautiful yarn. Her yarn is quite expensive over $100 a skein, and she usually sells it on ebay when she is finished spinning it.  She also teaches classes, and often knits up things with the yarn she has spun.  I know this is a weird request and a long shot, but I was hoping to find her blog again, if anyone has any idea of the link,  I would love it.

2  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / decoupage clueless on: September 02, 2006 08:30:50 AM
I am trying to decoupage for the first time.  I bought a few plain wood bangles and tried a scrapbook paper, but it was very hard to manage and ended up looking lumpy and wrinkly. I thought a thinner paper would work better. I am trying to find a source for tissue or decoupage paper that has cute prints, the only ones I can find are nostalgic, or victorian.  Any ideas?
