AH! Finally. So, Hetobeto and I both have had some posting and camera issues, but I think I can get this all taken care of. She sent me this GREAT beachy embroidery, and I sent her a little painty thing. Pictures:

What she made me...

What I made her.

Great swap! Thanks, Brill!

5  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Tall Tree Tote Bag on: April 15, 2007 06:16:44 PM
So, Ive been on a HUGE tree kick lately, and also have been really feeling the tote love... So this is my latest creation. It was made with this really great wool tweed stuff that I got for $5 a bolt at a vintage clothing sale. The lining is denim with quilting cotton for the pockets. Oh, and did I mention the thing is HUGE? Well, let me know what you guys think...

action shot!

Thanks!

LOVE! That fabric is WONDERFUL, and the bag makes me drool. I really love that pleated bag shape, and even thought I have made them without patterns, I really think I will have to try this one because Ive seen so many awesome bags from it. But this one is my favorite!
