thought I'd share my newest creation. It's pretty much a book of memories.. mainly from when my cousin and myself were younger. She's turning 18 tomorrow so I wanted her to have a little keepsake.

Ok, so those of you who are familiar with the Simpsons will understand the origin of this Valentines Day card..
My boy and I aren't really into the whole 'V-day' thing.. commercialism and such, but I thought I'd make him this card because it's cute, funny and we are both huge Simpson nerds
I made it last night (being the 13th), just outta some crap I had in my desk drawer (could go get any crafting stuff coz everyone was in bed!!)
I just thought it was a fun thing for a not so seriously mushy V-day card..

Hey all you crafty nutters...
I suppose almost everyone on this site has done the tie-skirt thing, but not it's my turn!
This was my first real sewing task.. First skirt.. First real post..

I'm not real prone to planning and patterns, I just sorta do things on whim, but I'd been meaning to make a tie-skirt for about 3 years, and finally it was done in time for HOMEBAKE (Aussie music festival)
Hope you guys dig it.

Hey All..
I'm kinda new here.. I've been looking at all your ideas and this site is just so.... neat!!

Here's my contribution.. It's a pencil case i made outta some fluffy material.. instead of doing homework..  It's nothing special.. and it's hand sewn.. as it was late at night and no machine....

I had to use buttons as there wasn't a zipper lying around anywhere.. it's surprisingly effective...



The material is hard to work with.. and I kept getting allergies from all the fluff that.. basically molts off it..

Anyway.. that's it
