I really adored this bag. It was peachy- or should I say beachy?

It was terribly cute. The mermaid had boobahs hiding under her hair which moved, and the hula dancer's hair moved as well. The waves were this fabulous trim that looked foamy. And I found a couple of fish buttons too. I was quite pleased with the palm tree. I thought it was super cute! I used rick rack to make the mermaids tail.

I made the wallet also. A couple pics of it. It was inspired by a wallet i saved in my favorite projects if you care to see hers. It was just perfect I thought. It was first time doing piping.





The other stuff just happens to be the rest of her package.... It was awesome. Our package never showed up though.... I m actually being angelled for right now for this swap... The super sea swap... anyways enough with my ramblings and thanks for looking!

Here are the two bracelets I made. The "sea glass and sea shells" cuff took HOURS of stitching to get it to look right!



This is the little mermaid that broke while I was packing her...UGH! I was so mad at that point!


I worked for such a ridiculously long time trying to get the pearls just right on the necklace. I mean hours people! Oh yeah I didn't write it in the package but I put knots on the leather cord necklace like you know the speed that you go in a boat on water?? Get it???


And here's the little wallet.....with lots of credit card openings. Even though Rob says you don't use lots there. You have one side for cash and the other side for change. I found a nifty little dolphin shaped piece of metal so I sanded it till it looked pleasing to me!

This was the last minute bag which wound up taking FOREVER because my machine went weird and wonk and BROKE! Soooooo, it was finished by way of my lovely little glue gun. I'd be shocked if it ever broke! LOL


And finally the mermaid/hula girl bag. I was so aggravated because I was using my mini iron and it kept making marks all OVER the bag! I was literally crying at one point. "I just want it to be cute!"

The chicky I angeled for has recieved her package so I'm posting her loot. I didn't realize that little people had my camera before me so some one put their fingers on the lense.

Pizzacravings - had to say that is an absolutely gorgeous painting too!

In other news - I went home to my craftster (Nature) package and it was *perfect* for me. It was so neat to see what the other person put together for me, she is a genius. And then I stayed up until 2am watching reality TV: Top Chef Chicago and Step It Up and Dance - ridiculous but I love those two soooooo much. (And I've mucked up my alarm so it is not going off...still got to work with 5 minutes to spare though! )

OMG! Pogo.. I love Bravo. I'm terribly upset by Project Runway moving to LIFETIME Blech

I want Blaise to win. I think they let Lisa stay to let Richard and Stephanie have good competition. She is SO negative!



I knew Cody was going to win but I was drawn to Nick. I really wanted him to win.

I love that Debbie Downer won't be coming along telling us to get back on track cause WE NEED to talk for our partnership! HA!
