1  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Simple frame on: April 09, 2008 04:46:34 PM
Its nothing spectacular, but I like it so I thought I'd share.  Here we go.

I had this frame that I bought at Target 13 years ago.  I can't get rid of anything!!  Its the first thing I ever bought there.  Anyhow, there was nothing wrong with the frame, it just doesn't go with anything I own anymore. I guess quite a bit changes in over a decade.  So, a little paint, some scrapbook paper and a little Mod Podge later this is what we got...  Smiley  Hopefully I managed to get the pics on here the right way, if not I'll be busy doing edits for the next few hours, lol, I'm so lost sometimes  Tongue

2  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / If I made it for the house, does it count as housewares? :) on: November 09, 2007 01:23:48 PM
Hi all!  This is my first post that has a completed project of mine in there and I 'd love some feedback.  I made this little sign for my kitchen.  I had seen one similar to it while shopping over the summer, but wasn't thrilled with the image that was on it.  So I came home picked out some things I liked better and got to work.  Then I got sidetracked.   Undecided   hehe.  Anywho, here it is, in all its glory.. my new kitchen sign.  (btw, this was my first time decoupaging anything...so be kind  Smiley

I'm not sure how to add pics, so sorry if this doesn't work!!
3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / First post, help with sleeves? on: October 13, 2006 11:38:27 AM
Hi all, this is my first post and I'm hopeful that someone will be able to give me some direction.  I'm new to sewing (made only jammie pants for my kids) and decided to try their halloween costumes.  My problem is that I have no idea how to do sleeves!  I have patterns and I'm just having a heck of a time trying to pin the sleeves properly to the arm holes, can anyone tell me (in terms a kid could understand, preferably  Tongue ) how to get this right?  Thanks so much.  Smiley
