1  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions / Painting a barbie type craft doll on: September 24, 2008 03:24:22 PM
Does anyone know what kind of paint I can use on a vinyl craft doll? I want to transform a vinyl craft doll into Elphaba(The wicked witch of the west). So I have to paint the whole body and face a light shade of green. My daughter loves Wicked the musical and I want to make it for her for christmas. Any ideas and links would be soooo helpful. Thanks
2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / Help with padding for bags on: July 24, 2008 03:00:21 PM
Hi everyone. I need some advise. I made this bag for electronic gadgets and I used quilting batting for the padding. I sewed the batting to the lining and zipper but when I turned it inside out all the batting some how bunched up and ended up on one side of the bag. I've sewed with batting before on other bags with no problem but this one doesn't want to work. Should I use Pellon fleece instead or is there something else I can be using? Thanks for any advise.
3  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / New pencil pouch on: February 08, 2008 08:40:40 AM
Hi everyone,

I'm not new to Crafster but I am new to posting. Bad me! I was attemping to carry my pens and pencils around with me yesterday and the bag I had was a box type pencil pouch. In other words I kept dropping the bag when I carryed other items with me. Not cool. So I made this pencil pouch to fit my binder. Now my life is tad bit easier.

Thanks for looking.
4  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions / making my own doll pattern on: January 28, 2008 09:30:54 AM
Hi everyone, I've been trying to make my own cloth doll patterns for awhile now and when I finish my doll it looks like someone else's design. I want to sell my dolls but I'm afraid that someone might say I copied them. I took Judy Ward's classes Design Your Own Doll and Advanced Design Your Own Doll. It shows how to make patterns by tracing around a play doll. My question is should I try to sell my dolls anyway or go back to the drawing board? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Laura
