91  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / Re: p!atd t-shirt a little plain.. (pics) on: December 10, 2006 05:04:47 PM
That's an awesome stencil, and I know that people here hate to hear stuff like this, but if I were the one doing the shirt, I might consider leaving it alone.

Scratch that, no I wouldn't. I would end up posting here and asking for advice as to what I should put on it.

Nevermind. Smiley
92  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / Re: Idea for teacher on: December 10, 2006 04:58:54 PM
That is absolutely adorable. Period. ^_^

Altered composition books are always a great way to go. I've received a few of 'em, though I haven't given any as gifts yet, but done correctly, they can look beautiful.

Yours (well, Mrs. Spaulding's, I guess) is beautiful.

Those are adorable.
Um...I mean, FIERCE. Smiley

They're fantastic. I'm not into pink, but these look really really good.
94  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects / Re: Guinea Pigs new home on: December 10, 2006 04:42:06 PM
I have a hamster, not a guinea pig, but I wish I had enough room in my bedroom for a cage like this for the little fuzzbutt. One day when I own a huge house I will devote an entire room to hamsters and maybe then I can make a cage as cool as this. ^_^
95  CLOTHING / Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Completed Projects / Re: Lazy man's corset! on: December 10, 2006 04:32:37 PM
That is absolutely freaking gorgeous. It looks like something people would buy at Hot Topic.

Um...except I know that not everyone likes Hot Topic. Shoot. I may have just insulted you. *hides*

In any case, I think this is beautiful and I believe I would actually wear something like this. And that's really saying something, because it's tough to get me out of t-shirts and hoodies...

I love that idea! When I get my sewing machine fixed, or more time for hand-sewing, I might have to try that myself! Smiley
97  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Size 3X Men's Hoodie into Hoodie Tunic for Me! on: December 10, 2006 04:26:40 PM
Right now I'm a little chicken to cut up any clothing (and my sewing machine hates me/is out-of-order), but I might have to look into making one of these for myself at some point in the future.

Awesome!

I saw the front of this shirt, and went "awww, sweet!"
And then I saw the back and went "ftw! I want one!"

Great job: this looks amazing!
99  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Re: nothing says merry christmas like MCR! on: December 10, 2006 04:15:09 PM
Amazing!
My sister is also a huge fan of MCR (I don't much care for the image they try so hard to put out, but some of their songs are to my liking), but I just bought her gift.

Unsurprisingly, it is a Black Parade shirt from (where else?) Hot Topic.
(Didn't really have enough time to make all the shirts I wanted to make, so I went shopping...)

That is a fantastic hoodie: you win! He'd better like it!

I love the Conor bag.
*sigh*

I wish I had friends who were into DIY stuff. They all like the mall.
A lot of the stuff I see there, though, I look at and study and think "dude. I could make this for, like, five bucks, tops..."

I don't have many friends that really like to go to the mall with me anymore.  Grin
