i love those. a lot of ppl at my school have been making duct tape bags w/ photos..but i gotta one-up them. i'm planning on making a bag like yours using paint samples from hardware stores...whenever i do i'll post it here!

I made this before I got my sewing machine, so it is hand stiched & reinforced in some places with fusible webbing. All I did for this was to take a normal tee, cut the front into a triangle & cut straight across from armpit to armpit for the back. then, folded the edges over and sewed them to stop fraying, and size it. For the tie, I just folded over the tip of the front & sewed across...slip a ribbon thru and voila!

this is my first proj. ever with a sewing machine, and using a pattern. I used this pattern: http://www.simplicity.com/design.cfm?designId=11246&design=5151 and some Finding Nemo fabric, with a dark blue lining fabric. I made three for gifts for friend's bdays.

wow! I was just thinking the other day about making a Lichtenstein purse with the image I have as my desktop background; you beat me to it!  Grin awesome job!
