1  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Other Image Reproduction Techniques: Discussion and Questions / White transfer on black tshirt. Anyone know what went wrong? on: February 14, 2010 12:49:41 PM
So, I'm trying to make Bride/Groom shirts for my mom and her husband-elect. They want to have their reception at CiCi's and don't want to wear their formal attire to a pizza joint so they asked if I could make shirts for them. The groom shirt wasn't a problem. It looks perfect. The bride shirt however.....It is a hobby lobby tshirt, 50% cotton 50% polyester. This is what happened.

I'm thinking maybe it happened because I used a poly blend shirt. Has anyone had any experience with fixing anything like this? I was thinking maybe I could try bleach or paint.

9  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / chicken pot pie and...... on: March 20, 2007 10:53:36 AM
My friends and I have get togethers on Fridays. We all take turns cooking. Next friday is my turn. I want to make chicken pot pie, but I don't know what to make for a side dish. I would do a salad, but nobody would eat it.

My recipe for the chicken pot pie has peas, carrots, and potatoes. It seems like doing corn or a potato for a side dish would be veggie overload.

Dessert will be New York style cheesecake.

Anybody have a good idea, because I sure don't.

Thanks!!
10  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Re: i need some crafty help with a safety gate! on: February 27, 2007 06:56:06 PM
That's a good idea. The crafty solution I thought up would be to get some of the fencing that goes around a flower bed and just nail it to the wall with some plastic brackets meant to secure coaxial cable to the wall/ceiling. I like the idea of the plastic fencing w/ pvc though.

thanks for the idea!
