I live in Canton which is about 15 min from Alliance and I think about 20 min from Sebring.  My hubby did a job out there though and I use to take him lunch.
2  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re: What part of your craft do you hate to do? on: January 19, 2007 11:52:57 AM
i crochet so like all you other knitters/crocheters i HATE to weave in my ends.

i also hate to chain and do the first row of crochet for some reason it seems to take forever for me to do it.  But once I get past the chain and the first row I could sit there for hours (literally) and crochet my a** off.

OMG!  I am having SO much fun reading these.

~when you are in your bedroom crocheting and your 2 yr old comes in and says "You crocheting" and says the word crocheting as plan as day as if it is part of every 2 yr old language.

(i know this was already put on here but I think our b/f, hubby's, SO go through alot with us craftsters)
~when you and your family live in a 3 bedroom house but your hubby is really SERIOUSLY thinking of buying a 4 bedrooms house and building a shed out back just so he doesnt have to see your "craft crap" on the dining room table, dresser in the bedroom, baskets full of yarn in the living room, and 3 boxes of recon fabric in the basement.  the shed he said is for when I wanna craft in the summer while our girls play in the back yard.  (God I love my man!)

I am looking for a Crochet group that meets up whether it is weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.  If anyone know of any or information to one I am greatly appreciated.

10  CROCHET / Crochetalongs / DORMANT: "Tote~A~Long" Crochetalong on: November 16, 2006 12:03:45 PM
HI!

i just learned how to crochet and wanted to make a cool first project (other than the typical scarf).  Was wondering if anyone would want to do a "Tote~A~Long" with me.  I already started my tote not using a pattern and using worsted weight yarn in sc but switching it up every so often my changing the post i crochet it in.

You can either use a pattern or not.  Doesnt really matter.  Smiley

I figure if other people do it along with me then it will motivate me to finish it instead of getting frustrated with it and quitting.

So waddya think, whose with me?   Wink
